BOARD OF DIRECTORS / OFFICERS

Matthew B. Galland, Founder & Honorary Chairman

Matt founded Rush For A Cause when he was a junior in high school.  He turned his empathy into action when he learned of a local high school football player who was tragically injured in the fall of 2009 and, as a result of the accident a quadriplegic.  Matt’s vision is to have athletes come together for the benefit of their fellow athlete who’s lives have changed forever doing what they love….playing athletics.

The concept is ATHLETES HELPING ATHLETES.  Together, they remind the injured athlete that they have not been forgotten.

Matt is furthering his education and continuing to serve others at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.

His hope is that athletes embrace Rush For A Cause and give back.  Rush For A Cause may be a new level of philanthropy by young adults instilling Leadership, Character, and Service Before Self.  True role models, not unlike the individuals that they’re helping who are inspiring to us all.
