501 (c) 3 Foundation Supporting Catastrophically Injured Student-Athletes

The Inspiration

Matt Galland, founder, turned his empathy for a fellow football player struck with tragedy into an act of service before self.

Inspired after learning about a nearby high school football player who was paralyzed during a Friday Night Football game, a 17-year old high school football running back, Matt Galland, turned his empathy into action.

He wanted to Make A Difference.

He founded the 501(c)3 charity where the concept is “Athletes Helping Athletes”.   Athletes in any scholastic sport fundraise (i.e. running backs/quarterbacks collect pledges for every yard they “rush” or simply via donations) to help their fellow student-athletes who, as a result of a catastrophic sport injury, have had their world turned upside down.  These injured athletes and their families’ lives are changed forever.

The reality is that life moves on, however, not for them, or at least as they knew it.
